February 12 (Sunday) – Annual Ojai Pilgrimage: Meet at the Cactus Patch in Moorpark, 197 High St in the old “downtown” section of the city. Click Here to view map!!! Ride leaves at 10 am for Grimes Canyon, Santa Paula and the Webster/Taggart collections; lunch at Bocalli’s around 1:30 pm. February 25 (Saturday) – Café Racer meeting at Fisherman’s Outlet: 529 S. Central (between 5th and 6th) in downtown LA; about ½ mile south of Little Tokyo; 1 pm; a great outdoor fish market and restaurant in a trendy (?) warehouse district. March 18 (Sunday) – Lake Elsinore/Idyllwild Ride: meet at Tom’s Farm, I-15 at Temescal Canyon, south of Corona; ride leaves at 10 am for Hemet, Idyllwild etc. March 31 (Saturday) – Annual Clubman Show and Swap Meet: California’s biggest All British only meet; sponsored by the Northern California BSA Club Santa Clara County Fairgrounds in San Jose. April 15 (Sunday) - Mojave/Lake Isabella Loop: Meet at café 58, located at 2343 State Highway 58, Mojave, CA (intersection of CA 14 and 58 in Mojave) for breakfast. Click Here to view map!!! Baldy Ride: meet at Buchanan’s, 805 W. 8th St, Azusa for coffee and doughnuts; ride leaves at 10 am; lunch in Mt. Baldy Village. Click Here to view map!!! We haven’t done this short but scenic ride in a few years but it’s worth revisiting. June 1-3 (weekend) – 16th Annual Cambria/Big Sur Ride: meet in Cambria for Friday evening cheer; plenty of motels in town and on Moonstone Beach; headquarters at the Creekside Motel; ride at 8:30 am Saturday for wine country, lunch in Carmel and a return via the entire 108 miles of Big Sur – keep the water on your right for California’s most iconic ride with 50 to 60 like minded classic bike enthusiasts. NOTE OUR WEATHER POLICY! The Norton club has never cancelled a ride due to a weather FORECAST. If, however, at the scheduled time of departure the folks who do show up for breakfast decide not to ride due to rain, snow or…, then the ride may be re-scheduled, most likely for the following week.
